Community Manager Intern

Overview

We are seeking a creative and motivated Community Manager Intern to join our team. In this role, you will help design, launch, and grow the company’s global community ecosystem, connecting students, mentors, alumni, researchers, and industry partners across the world.

You will work closely with leadership to develop engagement programs, events, and communication strategies that strengthen collaboration and belonging within our experiential learning and venture studio environment. This position offers hands-on experience in community building, digital engagement, and program design.

As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, helping to align community initiatives with ongoing projects. Additionally, you will engage in continuous research and evaluation of emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This proactive approach ensures our team remains at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our workflows.

This internship is open to all, irrespective of age or prior experience. It is available to students, career changers, professionals, and lifelong learners interested in gaining hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining community strategy and engagement pillars (students, alumni, mentors, partners)
  • Research and apply best practices from global education and tech communities
  • Organize online and offline events such as AMAs, hackathons, demo days, and workshops
  • Support the launch of ambassador and mentorship programs to strengthen participation
  • Create and manage community newsletters, spotlight stories, and engagement content
  • Help moderate and manage community platforms (Discord, Slack, Notion, HubSpot CRM)
  • Develop onboarding flows, community guidelines, and knowledge-sharing resources
  • Gather community feedback and provide reports and insights to leadership

Qualifications & Skills

  • Interest in community building, communications, or related fields such as marketing or education
  • Experience with digital community platforms or CRM tools is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with AI, robotics, or startup ecosystems is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
